the property was clean and tidy and central to everything we wanted the beach, food and bus to town. the staff were so friendly and helpful. Sky was an absolute star welcoming us when we arrived and making sure that our rooms were sorted daily. one day when we were in the pool the owner came to check in with us to make sure we had everything we needed and then he came back with some pool towels. it was very quiet and everyone was lovely including the other guests. our stay was for four nights and we enjoyed every minute! so much so that our group has booked again for next year and we have added another night ♥️

My wife and I had a wonderful time at the arrow motel. David checked us in and was so accommodating. He gave us an upgrade on the room so that we wouldn't suffer in the heat due to the heat wave going through at the time. He also allowed us to check out later due to our flight arrangements. He was so friendly. The room was lovely and so clean! The staff at the Arrow do such a good job! The facilities in the room were great and well stocked. It was a wonderful time and I would highly recommend this accommodation if you are in the area.

Friendly and helpful for checking in, especially for an unexpected late arrival. Good off-street parking - chose this place as had bikes on the back of the car and seemed a safe choice. Decor is dated but very clean and tidy, shower renovated and very pleasant. The fan sensor in the bathroom was a great idea, only ran for a short time and only when someone was actually there. Wifi seemed speedy though didn't use seriously. No complaints - would recommend.

Our host was so accommodating and tried to get us the most suitable room - upgrading us for free from what we booked. We had kitchen facilities and bathroom and everything very clean. We picked up take away from nearby tavern for dinner, and had a walk along the beach in the morning before our flight (5 min taxi to airport). Highly recommend this little motel. A little dated but spotless and everything we needed. Fantastic for the price!

Perfect location, within walking distance of the beach and all activities for kids. Being by the Tahunanui beach campsite was an added bonus as we were able to use the playground, play mini golf and ride the bikes (we had to hire them). The Deck Cafe was amazing from the staff to the food. Was also within walking distance from the beach cafe and coffee shops and restaurants.
